Live at Hackney Empire

On July 5th, the Royal Footmen performed live at the Hackney Empire for the Empire Strikes Black charity to help the small village of Tafo in Africa. The Footmen duties included meet and greeting guests at the door and serving the hosts of the evening and warming up the audience during the interval.

Testimonial:
“Dear Minions,
I can't thank you enough for your fabulous participation in the show at Hackney on Saturday.
You are very generous people to give so freely of your time, and to add so enormously to the atmosphere and style and comedy of the evening.
It was a huge success: first figures indicate a profit of over £10,000, which will go straight to urgent projects in Tafo -- principally sanitation and education, as requested by the community.
The gift of your time and talent which contributed to this is hugely appreciated.
Thank you for your big hearts. And wigs.
Here's a picture for your album.
Love and blessings
Humphrey”
